As an international development professional, I appreciate the new lens in which you are looking at the issues plaguing the countries that the rest of the world looks upon with pity. I traveled alone throughout Sub-Saharan Africa for five months and saw the richness and diversity of each country, and felt the aspirational potential of it&#039;s people. That experience has helped me in my work to focus on empowerment and capacity building, even within the context of supplying exigent humanitarian relief. I look forward to reading more of your articles.]]></description>
